Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE has announced that they will be bringing back the Credit Union ONE Pays Your Way Sweepstakes, which will be held on their Facebook site from August 18-29, 2014.  

The sweepstakes has been such a fan favorite in the past that in an effort to show appreciation for their Facebook fans and to engage them, Credit Union ONE decided to run the promotion again.   

During the Sweepstakes period fans who “like” Credit Union ONE’s Facebook page will receive an entry form that once completed will enter them into the sweepstakes.  Existing fans will also have the opportunity to complete an entry form and enter to win. 

There will be two drawings during this sweepstakes – with four winners randomly selected on the first drawing and eight winners selected on the second drawing, for a total of twelve winners. Winners will receive gift cards to Starbucks, Kroger, and Meijer stores, simply just for being a fan and entering the drawing! 

Winning fans will be encouraged to post a photo of them using their gift card.  Also, an online photo album for the promotion will be created to house the photos for display, in an effort to showcase the winners and highlighting themselves as fans.

Ferndale, Michigan - Credit Union ONE's Southwest Detroit Branch recently had a Cinco de Mayo loan promotion during the month of May.
 

Members that applied and closed a loan at this branch in May were entered into a drawing for one of two $100 gift cards.

 

"This was a great opportunity for us to celebrate with our members and the community by offering competitive rates on loan products, and the chance to win our drawing," said Yvette Gonzalez, Branch Manager of the Southwest Detroit Credit Union ONE location.

 

With many entries, the promotion was a great success, and two members were very happy to be selected as gift card winners.

Ferndale, Michigan – Have you ever gotten more than you asked for at an ATM? Well, if you visited the Credit Union ONE Grand Rapids branch in July and used their ATM that might have happened to you.

This past month, those using the machine located at 1609 Walker NW in Grand Rapids may randomly have received a $50 bill instead of a $20 bill in their transaction. Approximately $2,000 was given out to lucky recipients.

The promotion which ran from July 10th through July 31st was designed to create awareness of the ATM and branch location, support the current branch efforts, and to show member appreciation.

And speaking of appreciation, according to Credit Union ONE Grand Rapids Branch Manager Sharon Blower, “It was wonderful that so many people came in concerned that they received too much money, but when they realized the additional money was theirs to keep as a thank you for their patronage, they were very excited!”

Promotional marketing efforts included email blasts to Grand Rapids Branch members, online banking notifications, flyers that were posted in the branch and on the ATM, as well as Facebook postings during the month of July.

During the event, a couple of winners volunteered for a photo, which were posted on Facebook generating some good conversation. Some of the comments included questions regarding whether we were going to do this in other locations and when.

Although no other promotions like this have been scheduled, Credit Union ONE is looking at scheduled more “Money Give-Aways” in the future.
