Credit Union ONE Walks for Warmth

Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE participated in the 26th annual Walk for Warmth benefiting the Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency (OLHSA), hosted at Great Lakes Crossing Outlet on February 6, 2016.

The Walk for Warmth is OLHSA’s annual fundraising event to promote awareness and provide support for those facing heat-related emergencies in Oakland and Livingston counties through the Emergency Utility Assistance program.

Credit Union ONE was a sponsor for this year’s event, and approximately 50 credit union staff members and their families and friends participated. The credit union has participated in the event for the last nine consecutive years.

To date, the event has raised more than $54,000 for Oakland County residents. 


“We look forward to this event every year,” said John Kozich, Credit Union ONE Vice President of Community Relations, “It shines a light on a need within our community and we’re honored to help OLHSA make an impact.”

Credit Union ONE branch recognized by local Elks Lodge

Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE’s Traverse City branch was recently recognized by the Traverse City Elks Lodge #323 for proudly flying the American flag.   
The local Elks Lodge recognizes 25 local businesses annually who display the flag.  

“It is an honor for the Traverse City branch and Credit Union ONE to be recognized by the Elks Club with a certificate for our patriotism and for what some would consider a basic civic duty,” said Tamara DePonio, Traverse City branch manager, “It was certainly an unexpected and pleasant surprise and we will display the certificate proudly!”
