Credit Union ONE supports Beaumont's Walk for Miracles

Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE (CUONE) was a proud sponsor of the Walk for Miracles benefiting Beaumont Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network, hosted at the Detroit Zoo on June 4, 2016. 

CUONE employees and their friends and families participated in the fundraising walk, which raised a total of more than $60,000 and drew a crowd of more than 1,000 in support of pediatric programs and services for local children and their families.

“It’s both heart-warming and humbling to hear the experiences of 
so many local families who have been impacted by the work of Beaumont’s Children’s Hospital,” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations for CUONE, “Our credit union is honored to be able to participate in events, like the Walk for Miracles, that support the hospital and all of the good they do within our community.”  

Beaumont Children’s Hospital, located in Royal Oak, is a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals – a national alliance of premier hospitals for children. The non-profit group is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across the country to support medical care, life-saving research, outreach, and preventative education to help millions of kids and their families. Beaumont Children’s Hospital has been the only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in Southeastern Michigan since 1988.
