Ferndale, Michigan – Local dignitaries, credit union board members and staff were on hand Thursday, April 17th to dig-in and break ground on the 4,800 square feet Credit Union ONE branch in Traverse City.

The branch, located at 1407 S. Division Street will replace the current branch on Veterans Drive.  The new location will feature generous parking, expanded drive-through service including a drive-up ATM, bike path accessibility and close proximity to the shopping district.

“This new location is a statement about our long-term commitment to meeting the needs of current and future members and investment in the community.  A first rate facility combined with what was already a first rate staff and community makes us bullish on the long-term growth prospects in Traverse City and surrounding markets. This location establishes a foundation from which we hope to continue to grow and expand in the area,” said Gary Moody, President and CEO of Credit Union ONE.

Site preparation is currently in progress, and the new branch is expected to open sometime in early fall of this year.

Credit Union ONE, headquartered in Ferndale Michigan for seventy-five years, offers a wide array of financial services and access to over 30,000 ATM’s nationwide, serving 110,000 members, with seventeen offices in three major metropolitan areas, including Metro Detroit, Grand Rapids and Traverse City.
