Getting Checks? It’s Time to Go Direct

Ferndale, Michigan – Due to the the possibility of our members being impacted, Credit Union ONE is reaching out to its membership to ensure that those affected have time to act.

Those receiving Social Security or other federal benefit payments by paper check are required by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to switch to an electronic payment method by March 1, 2013.

Don’t wait – make the switch today.

There are two electronic payment options recommended by the Treasury Department: direct deposit to a checking or savings account or the Direct Express® Debit MasterCard® card.

It’s fast, easy and free. You can switch at your local federal benefit agency office, online at www.GoDirect.org or by calling the U.S. Treasury Electronic Payment Solution Center at (800) 333-1795. For Credit Union ONE direct deposit information, click here.
