Ferndale, Michigan – The City of Ferndale is getting into the holiday spirit, and Credit Union ONE is proud to say that they have joined in!

The city’s Downtown Development Authority hosted the Holiday Ice and Winterfest Market from December 9-11, 2011 which included a tree lighting, ice sculptures throughout the city, and an open-air market.

This year Credit Union ONE sponsored one of the “Michigan Themed” ice sculptures. The Brook Trout sculpture created by champion ice carver Tajana Raukar was on display at the Credit Union ONE headquarters on Nine Mile Road in Ferndale. In addition, the credit union was featured as the Urban Hayride sponsor, which gave local residents free rides throughout the event.

“The festival really helps to get the community into the spirit of the holidays, as well as to provide a great event with a lot of free activities for the residents of the city,” said John Kozich, Executive Director of Community Relations for Credit Union ONE. “We are pleased to have participated in this event again this year.”
