Join Credit Union ONE as they prepare to Walk for Warmth

Ferndale, MI - Employees of Credit Union ONE are gearing up in preparation for the 21st Annual Walk for Warmth which will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  Walkers are collecting pledges, and Credit Union ONE will donate to the cause on behalf of each employee that walks.

The Walk For Warmth is an annual event that raises funds and promotes awareness of the emergency needs of low-income people. All funds raised benefit those who face heat-related emergencies during Michigan’s harsh winters.  From raising $1,500 in its first year to over $180,000 last year, Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) keeps the most important detail intact: 100 percent of all proceeds go back into the community.

Help keep your friends and neighbors warm by joining Credit Union ONE on Sunday, February 27, 2011 for OLHSA's Walk for Warmth - Oakland event, a community favorite fundraiser for over 20 years.

Credit Union ONE, headquartered in Ferndale Michigan for over seventy years, offers a wide array of financial services and access to over 28,000 ATM’s nationwide, serving 106,000 members, with nineteen offices in three major metropolitan areas, including Metro Detroit, Grand Rapids and Traverse City.
