Saving Money is Fun Kids Club during our Bike Helmet giveaway event!

Ferndale, Michigan – In partnership with AAA Insurance of Michigan Credit Union ONE held a free children’s bike helmet giveaway at their Troy Branch on July 12, 2013.

The successful event provided approximately 65 children with fittings for their helmets as well as some great safety information.

During the event children also had the opportunity to learn about the Saving Money is Fun Kids Club, with those signing up for the Club receiving some great prizes and incentives for savings!

“We are proud to partner with a fine organization such as AAA Insurance of Michigan to bring safety and value to our members,” said Swaminathan Seetharaman, Chief Marketing Officer. This was a win-win for everyone, bringing both exposure to great services and responsibility safety awareness.

Coming Soon....Bike Helmet Giveaway at CUO Troy

Ferndale, Michigan - Summer is here, and that means summer activities such as bike riding, rollerblading and skateboarding. 

With this in mind, Credit Union ONE, in partnership with AAA Michigan is hosting a Bicycle Safety Event on Friday, July 12th at the Credit Union ONE Troy Branch, located at 6010 Rochester Road in Troy from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

While supplies last, children (ages 3 and up) of Credit Union ONE members who attend with their parent will receive a FREE child's bicycle helmet and fitting.

Credit Union ONE celebrates its’ youngest members

Ferndale, Michigan –During the month of April, Credit Union ONE held twenty events to celebrate its’ youngest members with activities that appealed to children and families alike.

One of the credit unions’ partners, AAA Insurance of Michigan held Bike Helmet giveaways at the Credit Union ONE Berkley and Macomb branches, where children were fitted with free bike helmets and given great safety information. They also gave away a rolling cooler to a lucky adult member at each event. Approximately 100 children received bike helmets.

Another partner, Liberty Mutual Insurance held a ‘Go Green, Save Green’ Youth Week April 22-27th, which focused on being good to the earth while saving money. Children visiting Credit Union ONE branches received small trees to plant, as well as activity posters, and information on the new Saving Money Is Fun Kids Club. Adult members were encouraged to get an insurance quote and receive a chance to win a $75 Michigan State Park and Recreation gift card.

Ferndale, Michigan - Did you know that it is estimated that less than half of children ages 5-14 wear helmets when biking, rollerblading, or skateboarding?

More than a third of the children who wear helmets do not wear them properly.

Credit Union ONE wants to help their youngest members to be safe.

With this in mind, Credit Union ONE, in partnership with AAA Michigan is hosting a Bicycle Safety Event on Saturday, April 20th at the Credit Union ONE Berkley Branch, located at 28845 Woodward Avenue in Berkley from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

While supplies last, children (ages 3 and up) of Credit Union members who attend with their parent will receive a FREE child's bicycle helmet and fitting.
