Ferndale, MI – In response to impending legislation regulating interchange which will increase fees to credit unions, Credit Union ONE has developed a campaign called Save My Cash Rewards.
Cash Rewards, a feature of the Cash Back Checking program, is a staple product of the credit union. This product is important to Credit Union ONE members, and if the interchange regulation is not delayed, Credit Union ONE may no longer be able to provide cash rewards. Additionally, if the Interchange Regulation takes effect, the credit union may be forced to raise fees and assess new fees for products and services which are currently free, such as online bill payment and debit cards.
In order to Save My Cash Rewards, Credit Union ONE is encouraging all staff and members to send letters to their legislators to ask them to support the interchange delay legislation. Along with sending out letters, the Credit Union ONE website will feature FAQ’s for members, a creative video recorded by Credit Union ONE, and a take action page where members can contact their legislators and ask them to support the interchange delay legislation.
