Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE has announced the William G. Coyne Memorial Credit Union ONE Scholarship Awards for 2015. This year nine recipients were selected to receive scholarships totaling $10,000 to begin their studies.
The William G. Coyne Memorial Credit Union ONE Scholarship Program was created realizing the investment of both finances and planning by the credit union to help their student members in their endeavors to further their education after high school.
Graduating high school senior James Cook of Beverly Hills was awarded $2,000; while Kameron Dunbar of Detroit, Jack Vowles of Berkley, Veronika Dubravec of Rockford, Madelyne Luddy of Royal Oak, Regan Ora of Caledonia, Kevin Schwarz of Troy, Natanie Anilovich of Walled Lake, and Sierra Wangler of Royal Oak were all awarded $1,000. Recipients were selected based on exemplary academics, community service and written essays.
“As a community based member-owned organization, we are proud of these young people and are pleased to be able to give back to our student members to assist in their successes,” said Paul Stuart, Credit Union ONE Chairman of the Board.
