Michigan – Credit Union ONE has announced the William G. Coyne Memorial Credit
Union ONE Scholarship Awards for 2014. This year nine recipients were selected
to receive scholarships totaling $10,000 to begin their studies.
The William G. Coyne Memorial Credit Union ONE Scholarship Program was created realizing the investment of both finances and planning by the credit union to help their student members in their endeavors to further their education after high school.
Graduating high school senior Alexandra Hamlock of Macomb was awarded $2,000; while Anastacia Mauer of Chesterfield, Joshua Moore of Detroit, Stephanie Nagy of St. Clair Shores, Bradley Benedetto of Bloomfield Hills, Harsh Gusani of Troy, Brianna Moore of Detroit, Morgan Purvis of Troy, and Anna Bagnall of Cass City were all awarded $1,000. Recipients were selected based on exemplary academics, community service and written essays.
“As a community based member-owned organization, we are proud of these young people and are pleased to be able to give back to our student members to assist in their successes,” said Paul Stuart, Credit Union ONE Chairman of the Board.
