Ferndale, Michigan - Recently Credit Union ONE staff and board members
had the opportunity to join the Oakland County Chapter of Credit Unions on a bus
trip for "Lansing Advocacy Day", May 6, 2015.
The goal for this annual event was to bring at least 40 credit union representatives from Oakland County to Lansing in an effort to build and maintain relationships with Oakland County lawmakers, and also to give credit union representatives exposure to credit union grassroots involvement.
Participants learn about important issues affecting credit unions in our state legislature, have the opportunity to network informally with Oakland County State Senators and Representatives, and provide a credit union perspective to our elected representatives.
The bus was full, the conversation was lively, and a successful day was had by all.
