Ferndale,
Michigan – Credit Union ONE was proud to sponsor the STAR 105.7 Helen De Vos
Children’s Hospital Radiothon. The Radiothon raised over $217,000.00 during the
two day on-site broadcast on December 8th and 9th. In
addition to the $5,000.00 donation from the Credit Union that was presented on
air at the broadcast, staff from the branch volunteered on the phone bank and contributed
$1,500.00 from the sale of candy in the branch. “We appreciate the opportunity
to help and volunteer at this event and our staff really does a great job
supporting this radiothon in the community,” John Kozich Vice President of
Community Relations said. “ It’s good to know that work like this goes along
way with helping in the community.”

Credit Union ONE Collects for Charity
Ferndale,
Michigan – Credit Union ONE’s members and staff gave back to the community
through donations to Forgotten Harvest and the Toys for Tots local Program.
Since Thanksgiving each of the credit union’s branches collected food and toys
for the organizations. Over 1,000 toys and over 1000 pounds of food, along with
a $500.00 donation from Credit Union ONE, will be used in southeast Michigan
this holiday season.

Scholarship Applications Now Available

Michigan – Applications for the 2016-2017
Continuing Education Scholarship Program are now available online and in all
Credit Union ONE branches.
Any
Member must meet the following requirements:
- Be a member of Credit Union ONE of Michigan for a minimum of six months ( in good standing )
- Be a high school or GED graduate with a gap in education of two years or more
- Complete a Personal Statement ( details within application )
- Plan to enroll in, beginning in fall of 2017, undergraduate classes at an accredited two or four-year college or university, or an accredited trade or vocational school.

Credit Union ONE Sponsors Radiothon Benefiting Beaumont Children’s Hospital
Ferndale,
Michigan – Credit Union ONE sponsored the tenth annual 96.3 WDVD Cares for Kids
Radiothon, which raised more than $100,000 during the live broadcast from
Beaumont Children’s Hospital in Royal Oak on November 17, 2015.
Credit Union ONE Vice President of Community Relations John Kozich presented a
$5,000 check during an on air interview, and several of the credit union’s
employees volunteered to answer phones during the radiothon.
Proceeds
from the fundraiser will help purchase life-saving equipment, support
educational programs, fund research, and ensure that Michigan children and
their families have access to quality healthcare and the best possible
experience during their hospital stay.
“We
are honored to be a part of such and important event at the Beaumont Children’s
Hospital” Kozich said. “I am proud of our employee’s contributions and the work
we do as a community partner”.
